For me, community is the key to connection at Metrobrook. Growing in transparency and vulnerability have allowed me to be known. Through friendships, I have become known better and deeper than ever before.

Living In Community
As the love of God grows within us, it longs for expression in relationships with other people who know of this love, too. God never intended us to exist, let alone grow, in isolation. Our culture honors individualism above community. This is not the case in the church. We were designed to bear one another’s burdens, pray for one another, to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”
Metrobrook’s community of Christ followers needs you and you need them. Together, we are a community in the process of being redeemed.
If you are ready to live in community at Metrobrook, here are some ways you can get connected.
First Connection Groups
First Connection Groups are focused, short-term groups designed to introduce newcomers to one another, acquaint people with Metrobrook life and values, and help people assess what stage of the spiritual journey they are on.
DNA Groups
No matter what stage of the journey one is on, DNA Groups are a fit! Designed for 2-3 people, these groups study Scripture together, focus on character-building questions, and intercede for one another. Groups can be created informally, or through the help of staff.
Talk-With-Your-Mouth-Full
Nothing fosters community better than a good meal in someone’s home! Periodically, dinners are hosted in a handful of homes with the simple purpose of enjoying one another’s company and meeting different people in the congregation.
Learning Communities
Three times a year we gather on a Saturday morning in smaller communities to focus on different topics, membership, and leadership development.
Simple Connect
Every Sunday, real people, with real answers about anything are available in the fireplace room off the lobby to help you connect. Learn more.
